Participation Agreement
About Seasons of CS Participation Agreement
The Participation Agreement establishes a formal commitment between the Californians Dedicated to Education Foundation and your school for participation in the Seasons of CS professional learning program. This program is funded by the California Department of Education’s Educator Workforce Investment Grant for Computer Science (EWIG:CS Seasons of CS). By signing this agreement, you agree to participate in a multi-day workshop during Summer 2024 and also in the follow-up workshops during the 2024-2025 school year. These professional learning activities will take place between June 2024 to February 2025.
Capacity for workshops is limited; space will be provided to participants who complete the registration process on a "first come, first served" basis. Provided there is space in the workshop you choose, and both you and your supervisor sign the 2024 Seasons of CS Participation Agreement, a final confirmation of your registration will be sent to the email you provide during the registration process.
Important: Workshop participants must have a completed Participation Agreement to be eligible for a stipend and travel reimbursement.

Eligible participants will be offered a financial incentive of $250 for fully and actively participating in each workshop day, typically defined as but not limited to a six-hour day. Before accepting the financial incentive, participants will confirm they:
Understand the stipend distribution schedule.
Understand allowable travel expenses will be reimbursed for eligible participants. Upon confirmation of your registration and completion of your Participation Agreement for your 2024 Summer of CS workshop, you will receive additional details about travel and lodging reimbursement from the Summer of CS organizers.
If your school is a private school in California, you acknowledge:
There is no cost to participate in the Seasons of CS professional learning activities.
A financial incentive cannot be offered because of grant requirements.
