Inequitable access to early computing exposure, in combination with a lack of support to pursue computing, often restricts and deters students historically excluded from the field.

All K-12 teachers, regardless of the subject area they teach, can bring CS to their classrooms.

Unfortunately, students of color, girls, and students in low-income and rural communities do not have access to the same high-quality computer science education as their peers — and these inequities are unacceptable. 

Computer Science is more than just coding. Students develop important computational thinking and problem-solving skills when they experience computer science in their classrooms.
