We invite you to join us in an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality computer science (CS) educational opportunities for our California students.

Empower California's Future!

Join us at a Seasons of CS workshop to learn how to bring accessible, equitable computer science education to your students. Participants will be given tools and a network of support for fostering the next generation of critical thinkers and problem solvers in our increasingly digitized world. Stipends will be offered.

All K-12 Educators: There are regional orientation workshops for you this spring. Registration is now open.

K-5 Educators: There are regional workshops especially for you this summer. Registration is now open. Due to capacity constraints, participants are allowed to choose only one 2025 summer workshop when they enroll.  

6-12 Educators: There is a state-wide offering especially for you this summer being held in Anaheim, CA, June 23-27, 2025. Due to capacity constraints, participants are allowed to choose only one 2025 summer workshop when they enroll.

Summer of CS Key Survey Findings

The Summer of CS offered 44 different CS-related learning opportunities across California to build the capacity of K–12 educators to deliver high-quality instruction in computer science. Registration data and surveys administered before and after each workshop offer key findings about the Summer of CS experience.

2024 CSPD Week Was A Great Success. 

In July 2024, Grade 6-12 educators from all over California loved learning together. Check out this video to see who attends our events and why we say, "All Teachers Can Teach Computer Science!"

High-Quality, Standards-Aligned, and Equity-Minded CS Professional Learning for Every Season

The Summer of CS features workshops for K-12 Teachers, Paraeducators, Counselors, and Administrators.  These intensive workshops will prepare you to teach CS in the coming school year. 

The Autumn of CS features September, October, and November workshops.

The Winter of CS was hosted in February at the 2025 California STEAM Symposium. Additional workshops were offered in December, January, and February.  

Spring Into CS features March, April, and May orientation workshops. Registration is now open.
